Congratulations to the 6-4-3 DP Cougars 13U squad for an outstanding weekend of baseball and for winning the 13U Perfect Game Backyard Brawl tournament! The 13U Cougars earned a perfect 4-0 record last weekend. The championship game proved challenging for the 13U Cougars as they lost the lead late, but, with timely hitting and aggressive base-running in the bottom of the 7th inning, managed to score on a passed ball to win.
The strong weekend run by the 13U Cougars included great pitching performances by all players that took the bump. Congratulations to Trey Luke who won the Most Valuable Pitching award for his stand-out performance in the semi-final game. Congrats again to the entire 13U Cougars team for their strong team effort and successful weekend!
