The 6-4-3 DP Cougars 10U squad tallied nine straight wins, while out scoring opponents by a margin of 71-18, to capture the Perfect Game 10U National World Series Championship! The 10U Cougars played incredible defense and were dominant on the mound all the way through the event. The Cougars defeated some of the best teams from all over the country, including teams from Miami, California, and the Carolinas. The boys defeated two Top 10 teams in the country in the semifinal and championship games to capture the title. Even with the dominant performance, the Cougars did not have one single player in the top 75 performers of the tournament. This goes to show how true of a whole team performance it was. It took spectacular performances from all 14 players to make the championship run. From dominant pitching performances, to diving plays, multiple double plays, and lots of bombs (a.k.a. HR), it was a fantastic display of baseball across the board. Jack Bowman received MVP honors for the tournament due to his stellar play all over the field. Jack was fantastic on the mound, at the plate, in the field and behind the dish. There were some long, hot days out on the turf, but these boys showed determination and grit and a willingness to leave everything they had out on the field. The Cougars also had support from multiple kids from other 6-4-3 teams bringing tons of energy into the dugout, especially banana man!!
