6-4-3 DP Baseball's 14U Tigers win PG Gulf Coast World Series
Congratulations to the 6-4-3 DP Tigers 14U squad for winning the Perfect Game Gulf Coast World Series last weekend in Destin, Florida!  Over the course of the tournament, the 14U Tigers outscored their opponents by a margin of 59-16. Earning a perfect 7-0 record in the event, the 14U Tigers used 10 different pitchers throughout the week.  The Tigers competed against teams from Texas, Colorado, Illinois, Tennessee and Florida.  The Tigers went 4-0 in pool play games and earned the #1 seed for bracket play. In bracket play, the Tigers won three games en route to the championship. In the championship game, the Tigers recorded 15 hits (note: every player had atleast 1 hit in the game) which resulted in a mercy rule victory after 3 innings by the score of 15-0.

While no MVP awards were given, every 14U Tiger player contributed in all seven games throughout the week.  According to head coach Tyler Sands, it was a total team effort over the week long event.  Coach Sands and Coach Bowers also believed it was the best baseball the Tigers have played all season!  Congratulations again to the players and coaches of the 6-4-3 DP Tigers 14U team for a great week of championship baseball down in Florida! #643pride
