Congratulations to the 6-4-3 DP Tigers 11U team for winning the Silver Championship in the 11U Perfect Game Southeast Fall Super Regional NIT (MAJOR) on October 22. The 11U Tigers started off 0-2 in pool play but rallied mightily in bracket play! They won four games in a row to finish the weekend with a 4-2 overall record. The Tigers put on a tremendous offensive display during bracket play. They scored a combined total of 61 runs, averaging close to 15 runs per game.
Ayden Sellers not only led the Tigers offensively, but also the entire tournament! Ayden achieved the highest score of any player in the PG event's top performer batting rankings. Ayden logged 11 hits including five doubles and three home runs! He also had 17 RBI, scored 10 runs, and had five stolen bases.
Six other Tigers ranked in the Top 20 hitting performers for the tournament: Carson Page, Kyle Williams, Mason Smith, Jace Acord, Liam Patrick and Sonny Ferrara.
