Sean Guenther (6-4-3 Class of 2014) called up to Miami Marlins MLB roster

Sean Guenther (6-4-3 Class of 2014) called up to Miami Marlins MLB roster

Marietta, Georgia (Cobb County)

It is with immense pride and great pleasure that 6-4-3 DP Baseball shares the news of Sean Guenther's call-up today by the Miami Marlins.  Sean is only the second 6-4-3 player to reach Major League Baseball.  Sean (6-4-3 Class of 2014) was a stellar pitcher for 6-4-3.  During his years playing for 6-4-3, Sean was a dominant left-handed pitcher.  Sean was, and remains, a gifted athlete and fierce competitor.

Sean was also a standout on the baseball field for the Marist School in Atlanta, Georgia.  After his successful prep career ended with 6-4-3 and Marist, Sean logged an outstanding college career as a student-athlete at the University of Notre Dame.  In the 2017 MLB Draft, Sean was selected in the 7th round (209th overall) by the Miami Marlins.

Since forming its first travel teams in 2007, 6-4-3 DP Baseball has watched over 400 of its players earn college baseball opportunities and 30 players advance to play the game professionally.  Now, 6-4-3 can proudly say it has another Major League ballplayer (note: Kent Emanuel also debuted in 2021).  The entire 6-4-3 staff celebrates this tremendous achievement by Sean.  As an organization, we are immensely proud of Sean.  Our thoughts and excitement are with Sean and his family as they enjoy this monumental day in Miami, Florida.  As an entire 6-4-3 baseball community, we will be cheering loudly for Sean and the Marlins from Marietta, Georgia!
